One looks like a scene from a heavy detective movie and the other from comedy. Although both of the photographs are taken by the same photographer, Henry Cartier-Bresson, they show different atmosphere and feelings.   First photograph was taken in Paris, France in 1946, showing two men standing on the bridge. They seem to have a serious conversation. In this photograph, the man who is holding a pipe tobacco in his mouth is mainly focused as everything else except this man looks blurred. It looks like the man holding pipe is just listening and the other man is talking about his problem.   The second photograph was taken in Brussels, Belgium in 1932 and it shows two men standing in front of a wall-like screen. They are facing the screen and the man wearing hunting cap seems to try to look inside the screen and the man wearing felt hat is looking around. It looks like he is checking if there's someone around them before he attempts to peek inside the screen.   Both pictures describes two middle aged men doing something together outside. While the picture depicting the men on the bridge has a little heavy feeling due to the cloudy weather and two men's reflective and gloomy facial expression, the picture showing the men in front of the screen has a bright and clear image as the weather is sunny and the man checking around has funny looking mustache.   Two different pictures with different angles give us very strong impression. They are all black and white, but the feeling and emotion they deliver us are so different. The photographer might try to capture the moment, but the impression can last forever.
