Do you think who these people are? They are singers who rated more than a million album sales of all time in Korea. Until 20th centuries, the Korean music market showed signs of life. However, by advancing the Internet technology, people have been able to find MP3 files easily on the Internet. Now, singers sell tens of thousands of albums at most. Downloading and sharing music off the Internet is just illegal, as it is defined by law.

First of all, by downloading and sharing MP3 files, music industry can be destroyed. In the past, people can see the music stores everywhere easily. However, after people have downloaded and have shared all the songs from the sites right away, the demand that people buy CDs fell off. For this reason the market for CDs has depressed a lot.

In addition, the lyricist and singer-songwriter undergo much suffering. When they create music, they are pained by the creative work for a long time, so music is one intellectual property rights for them. They earn money and live a life through it, and also it makes them work consistently. If they do not create music, people cannot listen to music anymore.

People said that everyone downloads and shares MP3 files on the Internet, so it is okay. It is true that almost all people have listened to music through the illegal way at least once in their lives. However, if they download and share it because of the thought others do the same as them, it is equal that people commit a crime and then say, "It is all right because we do it all together."

In conclusion, People can listen to music from the site such as Melon with little money, and Korea is broadening a music market in Asia and, by extension, in the world. Therefore, people should recognize the problems which are able to show as a result of downloading and sharing MP3 files illegally on the Internet.
